pep rallys
pep rallys are a way to show school spirit. All the school gets together and supports the schools teams. cheerleaders go out and cheer and show everyone their spirit.
games
football: these games are my favorite to cheer for, the crowd cheering along with you is one of the coolest things. half time is a lot of fun, being in front of all those people is exciting and it feels so good to just cheer on your team.
basketball: these games are also fun to cheer for, but they are also very helpful, because half time helps you practice for competition. so they are pretty much just an extra practice for cheerleaders.
soccer: these games are pretty much just to cheer on your team and show school spirit.

Front Handspring- go over like a front walk over but you spring off your hands and land with both feet together.
Back Handspring- same as front hand spring only you spring off your hands to the back not the front.
Front Tuck- this is like a front flip, you tuck your knees close to your chest and do a front flip
Back Tuck- this is like a back flip, you tuck your knees close to your chest and do a back flip

competition
Competition is one of the biggest things in cheerleading. This big moment in cheering is what takes the most dedication. You spend many hours practicing for that few minutes on the competition mat. Theres a certin amount things the squad has to do in one ruetine. You have to do a serises of jumps, stunts, tumbling and your cheer and dance while hundreds of people are watching you. Its a very scary and amazing at the same time, but its all worth it in the end.

sidelines
sidelines are chants that you yell out at football/basket ball games.
they are called sidelines because you stand on the side of the field or court and chant. you often repeat sidelines three times when you are saying them.
